Name – Sharron
Where are you from? Originally from NJ
What makes you want to volunteer at the Ranch? I was living in Australia when I first learned about this type of ministry working with rescued horses and people who are hurting. I then helped with an equine ministry in VA and knew it was what I was born to do! Being used by God to pioneer The Son and Reins Ranch and being the Director is one of the greatest blessings of my life! It never ceases to amaze me how God works through the horses to touch each person’s life, including my own!
What’s your coolest experience? One would be travelling around the world. Another would be when I’m having a hard time and I open my Bible or turn on the radio, and I read or hear exactly what I needed to… this reminds me that God is intimately involved in my life and cares down to the tiniest detail.
What would you like to do but haven’t yet? Go skydiving!
Favorite movie? Under the Tuscan Sun
What’s the most amazing thing to you about God? That He is in every detail. This gives beauty and purpose to everything, and brings me peace and comfort because He is also a loving, good God.
What gets you out of bed in the morning? Usually my dog J
Favorite horse experience? Running through the field with my herd
Do you prefer salty or sweet, and why? I prefer salt on chocolate J So I guess that means BOTH!
What do you do when you see a mud puddle? If I’m barefoot, which I am as often as possible, I splash through them!
If you could hear God speak 25 words to you, what would they be? Well done, good and faithful servant… and, I know you, I love you, I see you, I care.
